Fit & care

Good details, everyday

A pair of glasses should be chosen with both the frame and the lens option in mind. This guide helps you inspect the details without making assumptions about suitability.

Before choosing

  • Compare the frame shape and stated measurements with a pair you already find comfortable.
  • Review all available photographs and colour options.
  • Choose a known suitable lens specification. Do not choose solely from an age range.
  • If a measurement or lens detail you need is missing, contact help@opticmerge.com before ordering.

When the glasses arrive

Inspect the frame, hinges and lenses in good light. Try the fit carefully indoors while keeping the item clean and complete. If it feels unsuitable or you notice damage, stop using it and contact our team. A return request can be made under the returns policy.

Cleaning

Rinse away loose dust before wiping. Use a clean microfibre cloth and a lens-safe cleaning method. Avoid abrasive paper, household glass cleaner and harsh solvents. Do not rub grit across the lens surface.

Handling and storage

Use both hands when putting glasses on or taking them off. Fold the temples gently. Store away from keys and abrasive objects, and keep the frame out of hot vehicles or other high-heat environments. A separate case is a useful accessory; it is included only when the product listing explicitly says so.

Use thoughtfully

Ready-made eyewear is not a custom prescription. Check suitability for the activity you intend, particularly driving, sport or tasks requiring protective equipment. Our team can explain a listing but does not provide personalised clinical advice.
